Mother’s Day

Even though I now identify a genderfluid demimale today still aches deep within my soul. This year marks 8 years since I lost my twin girls, and I’ve learned that is simply not a pain you never truly recover from. I’ve heard many times that pain softens in time, and I believe that is simply not true. The only thing that changes is the strength and endurance of the mask that you wear so people stop giving you pitiful looks, or even worse tell you to get over it.

I’m happy to have my family and pack behind me on days like this. They are absolutely a blessing.
